MUM2026 Abstract Deadline Extended, and Remote Presentation by Exception
We have extended the deadline for MATSim User Meeting 2026 extended abstracts by one week, from 8 August to 15 August 2026. If you have been meaning to submit, you have a little more time.
We have also decided to allow remote presentation by exception only. In-person presentations are preferred, and this applies to capacity as well: if we receive more submissions than we have slots for, in-person presentations will be given priority in the program.
Please state clearly in the text of your abstract whether you intend to present in person or remotely. We need this at the time of submission, so please do not leave it out.
Attendance itself remains in person only. The remote option applies to presenters by exception, and there is no online option for attending the meeting as a whole.
Everything else is unchanged. MUM2026 takes place on Monday, September 28, 2026 at CICSU on the Pierre et Marie Curie campus of Sorbonne University in Paris, the day before hEART 2026, and includes the MATSim Association Annual General Meeting. Attendance is free for members of the MATSim Association and CHF 100 for non-members, and at least one author of each abstract must register in order to present.
