MATSim User Meeting 2026
September 28, 2026 Paris, France
The MATSim Association plans to hold a MATSim User Meeting 2026 in conjunction with the hEART 2026 conference in Paris, France. The user meeting will take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, the day before the hEART conference begins.
The MATSim Association Annual General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the user meeting.
Existing and new MATSim users are also invited to fill out the MATSim user survey. We are gathering insights from MATSim users to better understand professional backgrounds, usage patterns, technical details, and improvement opportunities. Your responses will help shape the future of MATSim and contribute to a more user-centered development process. This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous, and the results will be presented at the MATSim User Meeting 2026 in Paris.
Submissions
The call for papers is now open.
Please submit your 2-3 page extended abstract on the MUM26 EasyChair page.
The deadline for submissions will be announced soon.
Authors should register at least 4 weeks before the event so we can advertise the program in advance.
We require at least one author of each abstract to register for the conference to present the work.
Registration
The MATSim User Meeting is free for current MATSim Association members.
If you are not yet a member, you are very welcome to either join the association and attend free, or register as a non-member for CHF 100.
Membership supports MATSim core development, infrastructure and hosting, documentation and training, community coordination, and user meetings like this one. We consider MUM2026 registrations final for catering two weeks before the meeting, on September 14, 2026.
If you would like to support the association first, visit the membership page. Returning registrants can also use the same MUM2026 link above to re-check their status.
Please visit the hEART 2026 conference website if you intend to participate in both events. You will need to register separately for hEART and MUM 2026.
